Arabic gum is a dried edible gummy exudates from which derived from the stems and branches of Acacia species plant such as Acacia senegal , Acacia laeta and Acacia seyal .

Acacia gum is used in numerous products, ranging from ink to ice cream and shoe polish. It is also used to produce a medium for applying balsams, essential oils, resins, camphor, and musk. Moreover, in herbal medicine, it is used to bind pills and lozenges and to stabilize emulsions.
